I understnad my new ultegra components have a "trim feature" to help decreas chain rub and complement the 3-stop index system. Can someone explain this to me, and how I cna use/adjust/set the trim amounts?

When you are on the small chainring if you are on the smaller cogs (say below 5) and you hear chain rub you can click the front shifter, big lever (a click is about half the distance you would normally move it for a full shift) and it will move the deraileur slightly to the right. If you are on the larger cogs and you hear chain rub you would click the front shifter, small lever and it will move the deraileur slightly to the left.
The front shifter has big jumps and small jumpselviento

The small jumps are for microadjusting the derailleur in case there is chain rub.
