About to put together a small bag but am not sure which CO 2 inflator to get. Any experience with Innovations units?

SierraTradingPost.com has one on sale for $9.95. (Last week they had free shipping too, but I think that's over). Decent CO2 pump that uses the 12g non-threaded cartridges that are by far the cheapest way to go (about $.50 apiece).

My understanding is that a 12g cartridge will get you to about 90 - 100 psi. So if this is the case, do you just live with the lesser pressure in the event you flat?

Thanks,

I use a Blackburn Airstik to inflate and seat the tire up to about 20 psi or so. Check the tire making sure it is properly seated and no tube sticking out, I quickly finish the job with CO2. This usually means I do the job right the first time, spend less time and money per flat.
That's not less pressure...Matno

...for me. My normal pressure range (depending on the ride) is about 100 psi, so 90-100 is totally fine. Of course, I'm not a big rider (145 lbs). On the other hand, I would also recommend carrying an extra cartridge or two at all times. That way, you can use 1.5 to fill it up as hard as you want the first time and still have enough left for a second flat (just in case).
There is one called AirWolfe...don't buy that one. nmKristin
