A question about frames(8 posts)

A question about framesjptaylorsg

What are the differences among frame materials? What are the benefits of steel, composite, ti or aluminum? In what ways do they differ? Is it all a matter of rider taste, or are there some cut and dried differences to consider? What about for a larger rider (210 lbs)?

When you consider the fact that there are die-hards for each of the materials for frames, you have to realize that it really comes down to rider tastes/preferences...I prefer ti myself and spare you my subjective reasons on why I prefer it.
