Tyler's World Cup victory is a big deal so why didn't it get covered in the sports pages of American newspapers? Or did it get coverage in yours? I didn't see it in any of the local major NYC newspapers. Did it pop up at all on ESPN sports shows?

Friedel being named top goalkeeper in England made it. Lance will make onto Sportscenter daily when the Tour starts and I find it interesting during the first stages when he's like 63rd they say Armstrong in 63rd place in Tour de France..........

I'd say for the most part casual cyclists (most people) could give a crap about those races in Europe...only the Tour matters and that's all that the Yanks care about.
