|I am trying to decide between these two. The 45 has carbon seatstays, 105 components, and mavic cosmos wheels. The 35 has Ksyrium wheels, Dura-Ace, FSA Carbon cranks and Kinesium tubing. The 35 is also $200 more expensive. The weight difference between the two is less than half a pound in favor of the F35r. Any opinions?

|I bought the 50R, and am quite happy with it. Bought last years model that had the 105 crankset, which is now bent.
Other than that, everything is flawless, and rides beutifully. Weighed in at 17.4 lbs w/o pedals at the shop.

|financial situation, but $200 to upgrade to Mavic K's, DA and FSA cranks seems like a good value. I don't know much about the frames, other than what I've read here (which has been positive). If it were up to me, and I could afford the extra $$$, I would go for it.|

|I am upgrading from an old (read 80s) Schwinn Le Tour. It was given to me when I expressed interest moving from MTB to road (lack of time to drive to trails). I can afford either bike (F35r is at the limit of what my wife will let me spend), I was just curious if the carbon stays were worth staying at the lower model. The other frame that has them is their top model. Components could be upgraded later or when they wear out.|
