...this is the first time I went out with a camera...didn't really have a purpose except for an easy 3 hour ride and enjoying the weather. I ended up doing a little "farm land cross" instead of staying on the road. I promise next time I get out on my road bike it will be more organized:)

are those sheets of plywood? Nice scenery! nmTower

They've been doing lots of construction along the Prarie Path out here, and the crews simply drove huge equipment over the wet path creating some really scary secions. It was nice that someone put something down on the path where you are.
Everything looks nice....but where are these from? [nmbent_spoke

It's somewhere near Oisterwijk around 18 miles north to the closest border crossing to Belgium and about 55 miles west to the German border. The whole traffic system including car drivers are "tuned" to cyclist here, which makes this region of Europe one of the safest and nicest parts for cycling on the road. All that's missing are some mountains:)
True, but we've got some painful little hillsStampertje

Especially around Nijmegen and around Valkenburg. And of course there's always wind :)
(I've never ridden the Afsluitdijk. That has to be spectacular, too.)
Afsluitdijk wind is a killer :) nm.divve
