|Just wanted to pass this along hope this doesn't get Greg or Doug upset (Look at the reviews here first) and if you cant find what you are looking for just read an article in the newiest edition of Bicycle retailer I rec in mail today.
Anyways Garrett Lai and John peters have developed a website
It is a road bike only website with the "intent of providing some of the most complete road bike product test and information. It is geared toward the review of high end high tech products not the mid price range products according to Lai and peters.
Here is the catch they are launching the site as a free site but it will become a subscription site costing $12.00 a year however the site will not accept advertising.
Anyways just wanted to pass the site along if anybody is interested it is still free as of today.

|... we're used to getting a lot of info free... but there might be a small market for said (professionals, shop owners and such).
The stigma is in it's internet interface. While a $12/year subscription to a magazine that offered independent testing and reviews would be "great", I'm a bit retro on what I see on the web (albeit, you have to sift through $hit sometimes to find the truth).
Sticking to high end gear simplifies their task... but it might also alienate a large segment of their potential customer base (why should I subscribe since the only bikes reviewed are $25K + USD?).
I guess time will tell (who'd a thunk 25 years ago that we'd pay for TV... or radio???).
Be the bike.
