Ok, our plans are being firmed-up for July.

I'm looking for a Chattanooga ride--up them mountains--on Friday, July 18th. Will probably be in town and able to mount-up by noon, and will have several (3-6) hours of saddle time.

Will also have 3-4 hours to burn on Sunday, July 20th. I'll be able to start around 9:30 or 10 AM, but will be based 80 miles west/NW of Chattanooga, 80 miles S/SE of Nashville (halfway between Chattanooga and Nashville). I will have transportation, though this cuts into ride time.

Anybody interested in a ride, or have suggestions for a cued/mapped ride or a standing club ride in either area on these dates?

Are you still wanting to check out Missionary Ridge and/or Chickamauga Battlefield? I was looking at my maps last night trying to come up with a ride to include the battlefield and a good hill or two without having to ride some of the busy roads. It can be done but you should do the battlefield on a picnic day to be able to take in all the historical stuff.

I can ride Friday and have a few ideas in mind, scenic and hilly, you might be interested in. I will email (cat5orsomething@idon' you some routes to check out on the map. As for Sunday. . . What town are you going to be in? It sounds like you could get to the Southern end of the Sequatchie Valley fairly quick. If so, there are several great rides there.

Bring your air conditioner!
