Don't know anything about campy, first day I'm on that stuff, so I don't know the good addresses. Just know that I want the widest range that is availeble. Where should I buy ? Thanks ! Pierre |

I am riding a Campy record cassette and if you take the number of miles it takes to wear out by the fun I had doing it, it equals a very low cost per mile of pleasure. |

I need a 13-29 | Spunout Apr 19, 2003 3:07 AM | | There are some EBay stores selling cassettes for around $60 (chorus). labicicletta.com has the best price in Canada(and has a US price list) at $120 Cdn. My LBS asked for $240 Cdn. for a Chorus cassette! Outrageous! |
| Miche parts | phatlizard Apr 19, 2003 3:58 AM | | Do they sell Miche parts in North American? Makes 10speed a little more affordable. Miche Supertype (Aluminum) 120 (should equal US$) Miche Primato (Steel) 50 But according to my catalog the max. size is 13-26 Christian Old Europe |

| Assume we're talking 10s? | Kerry Apr 19, 2003 5:35 AM | | A Chorus (or below) steel 10s in 13-29 should be easy to come by and not too expensive. All of the Campy 10s cassettes are interchangeable so you can use Centaur, etc. as well. I recently got a good price on a Veloce cassette and put it on instead of my usual Chorus - so far (700 miles) I can't really tell the difference. Don't forget to add links to the chain - it must be long enough to go into the large/large combo without destroying the derailleur. While Campy recommends a medium cage rear derailleur with this cassette, many report no problems with the standard derailleur. I find LaBicicletta to have good prices, but if you watch for sales, you can sometimes beat them. |
| isn't veloce 9s? | colker Apr 19, 2003 6:37 AM | | 10s campy is expensive. expensive bike parts are immoral and condemmned by islam!! anyway i feel an idiot paying $100 on a cassette. one route to take is convert shifters to 9s. change something in the mechanisms and cassettes are suddenly half tye price. |
| Mine is, but I belive Campy has 10s across the line (nm) | Kerry Apr 20, 2003 1:07 PM | | |
