Apr 19, 2003 5:35 AM | | A Chorus (or below) steel 10s in 13-29 should be easy to come by and not too expensive. All of the Campy 10s cassettes are interchangeable so you can use Centaur, etc. as well. I recently got a good price on a Veloce cassette and put it on instead of my usual Chorus - so far (700 miles) I can't really tell the difference. Don't forget to add links to the chain - it must be long enough to go into the large/large combo without destroying the derailleur. While Campy recommends a medium cage rear derailleur with this cassette, many report no problems with the standard derailleur. I find LaBicicletta to have good prices, but if you watch for sales, you can sometimes beat them. |

one route to take is convert shifters to 9s. change something in the mechanisms and cassettes are suddenly half tye price. |
