|I mounted the size 25 GTX's that I bought for $5.00 at Performance last week. I remembered the poster here who mentioned they are undersized, so I mounted and filled one and compared it to my already mounted Michelin 22's. The 25 was more like a 19. I brought them back and put on conti's--which I fear was a mistake. They are WAY tight on my rims.|

|They are an older tire but are similar to Axial Sports and are kevlar beaded. They were tiny. The 25's do seem to soak up some of the road buzz.|

|...problem? I ride with Michelin Pro Race's (700x23) and they are quite tight when putting them on my wheels (DA hubs laced to Ritchey OCR rims). Someone mentioned that tire manufacturers are making tires to fit wheels more "snuggly" to limit their liability.|

|On a group ride, when you've been trying to get your tire remounted for 15 minutes, those people who once seemed to be friends will threaten to push you out into fast moving traffic or will begin pelting you with stones. :)

|In my experience, Avocet tires are much less snug fitting than Contis, Panaracers, or Michelins, and work brilliantly well. The newer versions of the Fasgrip series (i.e. the ones with black skinwalls) are sized accurately to boot.
