So how was the RBR Easter Ride in IL???Kristin

I was so bummed that I had to bail out. It was for the best. I'm signed up for about 6 other rides already and my bike budget is threatening to collapse in on itself sucking in funds from god knows where else. It was a great weekend though and I wished I had been there. So how was it?
was it Easter already? nmDougSloan

The ride is dubbed the Easter Ride...though really its held near Easter. Which I'm guessing is a good thing. I wonder how much participation they'd get for an organized ride on Easter Sunday. I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be digging into a HoneyBaked ham and plan to reach top speeds of 1 MPH on Sunday afternoon.

Money is the one thing that should not keep you from riding. If I remember corectly, you live somewhere in the St Charles area. You could jump on the Fox River Trail, ride up to Mc Henry, back down to Aurora and back home, for over a 75 mile ride. This time of year, there aren't too many skaters or little kids around.
This comming weekend is the perfect time to pour on the miles. I plan to do lots of easy miles to build up endurance, which has been a problem in my training plan.
I didn't say I didn't rideKristin

I just didn't do the organized ride that some posters were showing up at. The ride cost was $25 and I would have only done the 35 mile ride.
