can someone tell me the difference between the vortex and tuscany. other than type of titanium, litespeed refers to the tuscany as the "3al-2.5v vortex". but the geometry is the same on both. is one intended for heavier riders? what's the difference, 'cause i just ordered a vortex(frame only), but if i can save some cash, it's worth considering. Basically, price aside, what' the difference? i'm 155lbs. live the hills.

Diamond-shaped 6Al-4V titanium top tube, oversized diamond-shaped 6Al-4V titanium down tube. 225 gm lighter than Tuscany. A whole collection of shaped, swaged, butted 6/4 tubes that you don't get with the Tuscany. The Vortex is one of the few bikes recently that top pros have paid to ride (repainted in other brand's colors). You won't find anyone doing that with a Tuscany. Whether it is worth the extra $$, only you can decide.
