|When is a 6 mile ride better than a 60 mile ride?||look271|

|When you take your kids for a ride on a beautiful spring day. Along the creek, then up a hill-challenge to see who can go the farthest up the hill-then down, back along the creek, over a bridge, along some ponds where the geese were sitting and the turtles were getting their 1st warm rays of spring sun, and back. All told, about 6 miles. They're good and tired now =)|

|is to get them to ride further and get used to riding up hills. My 10 yr old wants to do a MS 150 with me (although I haven't done one in 2 yrs). A tandem? We'll see. It's fun just watching them ride along. I didn't need a hard ride today anyway. Think we'll make this a weekly ride.|

|... have seen many a grinnin' kid on the back of a tandem during some long distance organized rides... sounds like an excellent plan and goal to me.
Be the bike.
