I have a fondriest frame 2002 team lampre TT. I have a profile ACD carbon fork. My headset is a chris king no thread set. I know the frame, fork and headset are no problem as I got them all from the same place. But I want to put the ITM CX2 ahead time trial bars on the bike. I am not sure if these bars will work with my fork and headset?? And I don't want to lay out the $$ and it does not work, any help appreaciated, here is a pic of the aero bars. (Ahead compatible time trial bars)

... One of the drawbacks to these integrated aeros is their lack of adjustability (limited on some... none on others)... and I've never used the ITM, but I'd imagine your only concerns would be whether or not you'd achieve your desired position and whether or not the clamping mechanism is compatible with a carbon fiber steerer.

It appears to use a two bolt pinch system which should be compatible with a CF steerer (again, as long as you can achieve your proper position within the stack height limits of a CF steerer).

Be the bike.
thanks, here is some info on these bars.......african

The CX2 is the new "Aero" handlebar system built by ITM. It consists of three adjustable elements: the stem, the extensions and the central wing. In particular, the stem angle can be adjusted using an eccentric shim which allows a variation in angle of +/- 5 degrees. This shim is machined centrally at an angle so that when fitted straight it gives the stem an angle of 79 degrees, and an angle of 69 degrees when turned upside-down. When a shim machined concentrically in the centre is fitted, the angle is 74 degrees.

So they seem to be very adjustable....... one of the reasons for looking more at these than any others. The alternatives are:
Cinelli Angel
Deda aero blue
Vision
Oval A700
3T

Thanks for help and input...Cheers

You wouldn't have happened to get that frame and fork on eBay, would you? I remember seeing one like that a while back ago.
