It took 3 months of waiting for the customer, but well worth it. The Merckx has got to be the most beautiful carbon frame I've ever seen! It is indeed a gem, even among other fine carbon steeds like the C-40 or Calfee. Light as a feather, too. I'm still awaiting for a report from the owner. His last bike was a Merckx Majestic Ti.

I just picked mine up over the weekend.
I waited more than 3 months and it sure as hell is worth it.
I'm 6'2" and 210lbs., and this is the first carbon frame I've owned.
Its not the least bit "dead" as some say about an OCLV frame-- in fact, I think it feels pretty lively. It is stiff but supremely comfortable. The best attribute is its weight. I got a size 53 (which equates to about a 59) and built up with Campy Record and Mavic Ksyriums, it came in just under 17lbs. The difference when I'm climbing is unbelievable.
The look of the frame is gorgeous-- all black carbon weave with tasteful gold Merckx logos.
Yes, it was spendy, but so far, I'd say it has been worth every penny.
Get one if you can...
