Up until six days ago I thought I was doing great with no punctures in the last 2500 miles. Then in the last 80 miles, over three rides, I get four punctures, on four different tubes on two different tyres! This is obviously some sort of payback for months of trouble free riding.
How many do you think I will get on tomorrow's ride?
340 miles = 5440 / 16 Avg. Don't know median, chi, etc.teamsloppy

Fr? Is that Father like in Catholic Priest?

The flats come in batches. I can go thousands of miles with no flats then have a couple a day. Winter is especially low flat season, late summer higher (goathead thorns, thorny tree leaves?).
Yes, Father Ted Crilly is a priest...Fr Ted Crilly

...from Craggy Island, just off the west coast of Ireland. The riding on the island isn't too great, but the locals here are a real bunch of characters who makes life interesting.
last year <50 miles, this year almost 1000 so far w/out a flatcory

Haven't changed a thing--same tires, same roads. On one 22-mile RT commute last year I had six punctures. So far this year, nothing. Somebody else's turn....
You mentioned the f* word! You are doomed! =) nmlook271
