|given that i have about 800 or 900 miles in me this year. and i have been doing them 5 x 7 minutes in zones 4 and 5a. is twice ok?|

|I would say 3 times shouldn't be a problem, as long as you feel recovered. Maybe like Tues,Thurs, Sat.
But I wouldn't think you would need to do too many more of these before moving on to longer intervals, say 2,3 x 10,12,15 working up to 1 x 30,45,90, and occasionally going to zone 5b. It's these longer intervals where you'll make your most gains, and in my opinion the ones you're doing now
are a stepping stone to the longer ones.
Of course, if you're doing these on hills, that's another story....
