Wow, Bob Roll was in rare form last night as he was previewing Paris-Roubaix. I don't know if this was meant as a compliment to Johan Museeuw or not.

and I was diggin it. He had a whole bunch of them that came so fast I could barely keep track. That show is a good forum for his wackiness. How about the rider named Lobanto (sp ?) about whom Bob says "who would prefer a bottle in front of him" in a distortion of the old quip "I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy". Ouch. Great Fun.

While they showed film of the trophy presentation at the end of the Tour of Flanders he said something like, "Here we have the trophy presentation with an overweight Burgermeister smelling of stinky cheese and old ham. Where are the podium girls?"
