Any real evidence of Bridgestone cultists?pwef

I've been looking into old Bridgestones and it seems like there are still alot of former BOBS and brand new wanna-be BOBS around. I haven't really tracked much in the biking world for the last few years and I'm wondering if there's a real fascination or if it just looks that way because you get a few returns on a search engine. No one has stopped their car to look at my XO-1 in a long time.

A few months ago, there was a survey on the board of the bikes that participants owned. Bridgestone showed up surprisingly well for a brand that hasn't been sold in around a decade.

I did decide to pass up a really good deal on a Steelman SR in favor of continuing to ride my '89 RB-1. It's heavy as a tank, but rides so nice I can't justify replacing it.
