700 cms would be one BIG wheel! Methinks that's 700mms.

Anyway, like you, I've never heard of a 25 incher.
Where'd you come across this?

read their statement :"We're by no means bike experts".

They took a 700c rim, measured with a yardstick to 25 inches
(700c = 62.8cm/2.5(cm/in) = 25 inches.

Never heard of 'em either. What occurs to me, though, is that at some point someone referred to a rim that was 25mm WIDE, and it got confused along the way with one that was 25 INCHES in diameter. I work a lot with measurements switching back and forth from metric to inch, and some of the things that happen are amazing. The other day I had a guy swear he rode a 60-inch frame.
60" frame??!!Alexx

Bikes were measured by wheel diameter. Growing tall enough for a 26 inch bike meant being close to manhood for a 6th grader and riding a 24 inch bike to jr. high school was almost as bad as a girl's bike.
