Opinions on Giordana Silverline bibs...MVN

from those who have them but haven't reviewed them? There were a few bad reviews on them but I've previously only heard good things about them. Just curious. I currently have 2 pair of Volers (one's too big now), one pair of Pace ITS-250, and 2 pair of Performance Elite, the older model. Voler's are my favorite, Pace a close second, Performance I use for the trainer. I wanted to try the Giordanas b/c of the good things I've heard. I'll take all the .02 cents you wanna throw at me. Thanks.

I have a few pair of the Giordana silverline shorts, but here's what I think. Very good shorts. Thick material, good seams, good craftsmanship. The chamois is a little more anotomical than their next lower model, the RT800. I get em at S-go, sometimes they're on sale for 15% off the $60 price tag. Not a bad deal. I've never felt good about paying $100+ for shorts anyway.

Coincidentally, I just wore my Silverlines for the first time in a few weeks today for 75mi. and was reminded just how nice they are! I think that the chamois is one of the best I've used (versus Castelli or Verge) as it's not super thick but it really does the job. Well made and not out-of-this-world expensive. The silver seams look good too. FWIW, I'm not long-torsoed but I find they do run a little short in the shoulder straps so maybe going up one size might not be a bad idea...
