|What I have found, seems as though little wider platform not as bulky of a pedal, nice feature in the impact is it lets you adjust the Q factor the distance between your shoes and the cranks. I feel they are the best pedal I have used very easy to get in and out of just like looks can use 3 bolt look pattern or time pattern on shoe sole. I have about 950 miles on mine not one squeaking noise. All positives, another thing time customer service is the best I have ever experienced.
Hope this helps
I use the magnesium model.

|Look was my pedal for the past twelve years and are a great large platform pedal. But I just got tired of the squeaks they made and looseness I felt in the shoe to pedal while riding hard. With the Time Impacts I feel a greater mesh with the shoe to pedal. The Impact cleats are way easier to walk in. The new pedals allowed me to lower my saddle/bars by 1cm. No more squeaks!! The only down side I have found with the Impacts was that the float has more of a recentering spring to them and will take some getting use to . Clipping into them is harder than the way easy Looks. I'm glad I made the big switch. I have three bikes, so it was kind of painful changing all over to Time, almost as bad as when I changed to Campy from Shimano.|| |
