Freedom: Countless miles put in;
- by dropping off the car at the garage and riding on to work or home
-seeing a road and wondering where it went
-too icy to drive to the grocery store, take the mtn bike
-short cuts through traffic jams
Top Gun Syndrome
-You know the feeling when everything is right and your need for speed is quenched, at least for a while
Clean air, sweat and a clear head
Breaking the mold
Memories of good times and great friends and even more to come
Being 40 years old and asked if your 30
A 30 inch waist
OK, gotta give some credit to Mom and Dad for the genes and most of all God for the ability that so many will never know

|to the Seattle-area traffic report on my headphones while blissfully bike-commuting to work! Suckaz!
Realizing that it takes the same if not less time to ride to work than it does to take the bus!

|Those Euros and their use of sex in marketing. Good stuff. Don't know if it's been changed, however, last time I went to the Pinarello site I wasn't sure if I was looking at their site of the beginning of a porn flick.|

|I think the bike is way to small for her. Ugh! I am getting old. That is the first thing I thought when I saw this picture. What happened to me? Oh! I remember, married with three boys. If I buy a Fondriest, do the girls come with it?|

|I've always adored the feeling of cycling. I figured it was almost as good as flying. But now I'm also a pilot, and I think cycling may be even better: flying does not offer the freedom it once did (especially around DC, post-9/11), and it comes with a big guilt-trip for the expense and resources used.
I love to conquor miles. I like doing trips long enough to show up on a large-scale map.

|now you know why that is my online name ;-)
Really though that wind on your face feeling is the best isn't it?
It always puts that smile on my face....The same smile I remember when I was a kid on my first stingray bike ;-)
Also I agree with the flying a plane comments......Although the last time I was up in a sailplane it was way better than any prop plane could ever be. But still cycling has a satisfaction that nothing else has ever matched..for me.
(hobby wise of course ;-)
