Just to follow up on a few notes:
The frame is great to me, but I have limited experience with high end road bikes. I am moving to this bike from a Jamis Aurora and the Leader is significantly lighter. Also, the Ultegra components much smoother than RSX.

The velcro on the mirror is not really bothersome to me and the benefit of having a mirror mounted on the hood v. the bar end is worth the slight discomfort.

As far as the low bars, you are correct. After riding yesterday, I may reverse the stem to get a little more rise...and maybe add another spacer. Does anyone have other suggestions??? Thanks for the feedback.

Nice simplistic look. FYI, if your fork is cut to right at the top of the stem, you should not add any spacers.

From the pic, it looks like the stem is near the top.

Measure twice, cut once is the old saying.

I think a stem w/ more rise is in order - with reversible lettering. Reversing that millenium stem probably would make it too high, and cosmetically, it would be upside down.

you might want to rotate the handlebars back a little and move the brake hoods farther up on the bars. This will shorten your reach to the hoods. To me, your bars and hoods look too far forward and downward.

BTW you can't add anymore spacers

If he does what you suggested, the hoods may become "closer" but the drops get "further" away. Whether that is good depends on the riding style.

I think its best to stick with the general rules of thumb and then fine tune from there.

I try for bottom of brake lever to line up with bottom of bar. And the bottommost part of bar being parallel to the ground.

Are turned considerably downward in comparison to what is widely considered normal. Turn them up a bit and leave it. As you ride more, you'll get more accustomed to the position. If you want to see bar position, check all the pics on www.cyclingnews.com.
