|In the market for a new computer for my bike this year. Somehow I managed to lose my old one over the winter. What is your favourite computer?|

|All Sigmas are easy to install, reliable, and fairly inexpensive. Online they can be had for <$20 and about 26-27 at the LBS. Easily upgraded to wireless, too, for not much more.|

|I have a Cateye Mity 3 also. I prefer the Sigmas, FWIW.|

|I have a BC 600...not much but it has the same advantages you mentioned. I've also found Sigma has great customer support. Last year my Sigma quit working, and I contacted them about it by email. They wrote me back and offered to send me a new mounting bracket with wires and magnet for free...I didn't even have to pay for shipping. I'll definitely stick with Sigma in the future.|

|I have used the Cateye Astrale, the Cateye Mity 3, the Polar HRM/bike computer, and I just installed the 2003 Sigma BC1200.
The Astrale was great, when I got the sensors to stay put. I had to use electrical tape to get the wheelspeed and cadence sensors to stay put. There is a lot of wire ziptied to the frame to make it work.
The Mity 3 has been great. It's light and simple. It works.
The Polar S150 is a PITA. I just removed the speed sensor and put the HRM on the handlebar mount. Getting into the data was difficult, and the buttons are tiny.
I just installed the 2003 Sigma BC1200. I like the display. It mounts easily. The mount can be used on the handlebar or the stem (if you have a skinny stem...it would not work on my TTT Forgie). We'll see how well it works in practice.

|Purely for the display style, not the data archive function as it tends to corrupt.|| |
