It's got to be right under my nose and I just can't see it. There are 36 bids on this bike and I can't find where a size is listed. I can't believe 36 bids would be submitted on a bike without knowing the size.

ooh this could be fun...lets start a pool............ 56cm ...Frith

and when the seller actually lists the size the one who guessed closest wins absolutely nothing!
I was going to say 54 or 55DougSloan

The bidders must have emailed the seller.

They MAY have e-mailed the seller and asked for the size. Or not.
Just liked the pretty red, white & blue painthycobob

Plus it's bidding is going way too high for a bike that old. I could've bought a 2002 demo Trek5200 from the most unscrupulous dealer in the USA last year for that amount...but didn't, HAH!!! Love my Sampson!

Lots of bids, but few bidders. There's only 3 or 4 guys bidding in small increments.
Item description is from ad copy, if I didn't know any betterSpunout

I would say that this auction is a scam. The seller's verification suggests otherwise.

There are not Bontrager wheels or choice of double/triple on that bike. He may be selling for a friend, or had stolen it.

If you look at the bid history, most of the bidders were "0" feedback or had changed their ID (had shades). It certainly looks like some shill bidding went on. Maybe that's why eBay suspended the seller.
