It was 73deg and sunny and very light winds (an extreme rarity this time of year around here) yesterday. Of course I did my ride b4 work when it was like 42deg and that felt like a heat wave then! A bead of sweat actually rolled down my forehead! Whoa!

Of course, the forecast this morning for race day on Sunday was 35deg with snow and winds at 10-20... Yeehaw!

It was a really rough ride, my 1st this year up "Moor's Mountain road", my own personal h#ll. 2 miles of gradual, rolling incline, until you cross Sidonsberg road, then it goes straight up for .6 mile. If I top it at >6 mph I'm a happy guy! (Today it was more like 4-5 at the crest, but I didn't feel THAT BAD.) Rode about 2 more miles and then did a road that goes past a local ski area. That's only 1.5 miles and not quite as steep. This was all after I did another 1.6 mile climb that also has 2 ugly sections to it. Still better than being at work! (Hehe!) ;-)
