|Takes me awhile to notice stuff but I just couldn't figure out why my inside thigh, a few inches below crotch, was hurting. Just recently did the 'plumb line over pedal axle' fit with a fairly new saddle (Selle Italia TT). I did the fit myself with the help of my wife. Everything feels great but I've finally figured out why my right inner thigh hurts: it's constantly rubbing against the seat post. The left side is fine. Now if I can only find a sideways adjusting post....
I had a Rolls saddle on before this and don't remember the problem. Then again, I never did the plumb line thing with it and maybe if I rode it in the same position I'll find it happens with the Rolls too. I'm fairly thin so that can't be it, except maybe all my years spent speedskating turned me into an Eric Heiden? Yeah right!
Did an 85 mile ride last weekend and didn't notice the problem too much then but it must have caused irritation because I commuted today and don't want to ride home since it hurts so much now.
I'll double check the fore-aft position again but if that looks ok any ideas? Must be something to do with how my right leg is oriented vs. the left. Weird. Might have to move the saddle forward again.

|Look into buying an aero seatpost. They're only about a cm wide.|| |
