I've had it for a week, and while riding it works fine though the modes are hard to see.

Sometime overnight something triggers the computer and it just goes haywire. I'll went riding this morning and when it turned on, the data from yesterday's ride were all screwed up! My top speed was 70mph, distance was 40 miles (actually 10), odometer was 50 miles over what it should have been, average speed was 30mph. None of these #'s are correct.

I noticed it last weekend and I though it was my wife's Specialized cordless that was triggering it while we were riding together. So I took mine over to her bike and spun her wheel and it did not trigger my Cateye, so that's not it.

What can trigger the computer? Cordless telephone? Cell phone? Remote controls?

If this continues, I'm going to take it back and get the Specialized which I've had no trouble with.

My heart rate monitor interferes with my cordless. Now wear monitor on wrist instead of handlebar mount to avoid problems.
I don't have a heart rate montior, so that's not it......nmTower

In three years, I've never had a single problem with mine. It's possible you just got a lemon. Your dealer will likely take it back. Try another one.

I can't seem to find the Cordless 7 on their website. The LBS said it was replacing the Cordless 2. What happened to the other 4 models I don't know. :-)

Anyone heard of the Cordless 7? Is the LBS correct?
