Clipless for a Lifecycle ... can it be done?Tahoe Gator

Yes, I know, go out and ride instead. But there are times when the Lifecycle is handy, especially for offseason training or during darkness. Wondering if there is a way to install clipless pedals. The threading on the stock cranks is too small for standard pedal axels (e.g., diameter of standard pedal axle is greater than the Lifecycle's), so either I need a narrower thread or a different crankset. Any tips or sources on either approach appreciated.
You probably have 1/2-20 pedal threadsStraightblock

Common to BMX bikes & inexpensive bikes with one-piece cranks. I can't remember the website, but there was a web retailer specializing in BMX that listed SPD-type double sided pedals in 1/2-20 thread. Do a Google search & maybe you''ll get lucky, or check with a local BMX shop to see if they can order something.
