Is it so? Are some (or all) Trek cf models made in same factory in Taiwan as Giants and not in USA?

No. In the road bike lineup at least, all frames are made in Wisconsin, save the aluminum 1000, which is made in Taiwan, China or wherever. Don't know anything about MTB, so no comment.

The low end Trek's are made by Giant. I'm not 100$ sure, but I think the 1000 is made overseas. Most (if not all) of the hybrids and the cheaper mountain bikes are made by Giant. Check for the "made in China" sticker on the head tube. There are at least three different made/manufactured/built in USA stickers on Treks and it's hard to tell which are non-US made from these stickers.

Of Treks road lineup, only the 1000 is made overseas.
My 1200 which is the next bike up, has a "Made in America" sticker on it, and the headbadge says "Made in Wisconsin USA"
Hey! I resemble that comment.Lowend
