Hey guys

I subscribe to an email service from Sierra Trading Post. They notified me yesterday that everything on their website,, is on sale for 20% off. Bike stuff, camping stuff, ski stuff, etc.

In addition, if you enter 18775 as your catalog "key code" in the on-line ordering process, you will immediately be credited with another 20% off!

Finally, if you write this: "St Patrick's Day was first celebrated in America in Boston in 1737" in the comments section at the bottom of the page about gift certificates, your shipping charges will be refunded. (thanks It does not show on the order, but you will automatically receive an email shortly after your confirmation email telling you your shipping charges were refunded.

I bought two pair of Castelli bib shorts for a grand total of $76.74. I saved $190.00 off the retail price!!!!
Got size 15 MB shoes, too. (nm)Silverback

They even have DeBernardi alu framesgeeker
Mar 25, 2003 6:48 PM
Thanks! I got a jersey and a pair of gloves. They have some amazing stuff: discounted DeBernardi Zonal and Altec2 aluminum frames, of all things.
$352 Zonal F&F --- $480 Altec 2 F&Fteoteoteo

Zonal comes with steel steerer carbon and Altec comes with full carbon. Not a bad deal for a spare bike etc....
Dang. I thought this was too good to be true!Matno

But it is true... :^)

Now, if only the Profile Airstryke aerobars my brother wants hadn't gone out of stock 2 days ago... Grrrr. They would have cost about $25 shipped with the discounts!

I did just get a nice Cannondale jersey for $14 though. Not too shabby!

thanks for the hint.
i'd just bought a couple of items yesterday from sierra, but i went back tonight and bought a bunch of other stuff i saw but had held off on because of price. got a set of egg beater pedals that ended up costing $38 and change with the discount. i had to play around with the key code to get it to work but with a bit of dilligence it worked out and added the extra 20% off, on top of the 20% everyone else gets automatically.
thanks again.

I couldn't get the key code to work.
Any hints?

i had to add a few spaces in front of the key code to get it to work. just add a couple and toggle back and forth between the two pages until it works
thanks a lot for the tip!velocity

Not a lot of size larges left in the things I was interested in. Did wind up buying a Castelli vest for $51.17 with a little help from your key code. It'd be extra cool if the comment you suggested be entered translates into free shipping. The initial confirmation e-mail I received does not indicate free shipping tho'. Thanks again!
& shipping was free too! johnnyyou'reawesome! (nm)velocity

extra 20% off to work. Have they fixed the loophole?

I think they caught the loophole... I called them on the phone and they wouldn't do both. Just one or the other. Either one is 20% off is what they told me.

Keep trying! The coupon code is only good for web orders, so perhaps what they were telling you on the phone is that they can't give you the extra 20% on the phone!

By the way, it took about 18 hours for me to receive my free shipping confirmation email.

You typed in the 18775 code? And you got 20% off for their sale, 20% off for the above code, and free shipping for the St Pats comment?

Thanks! the St. Patricks day comment actually worked! I tried several times with live chat to get multiple discounts and nothing...tried the comment, worked, though received the confirmation email about 24 hours later.

saved almost $100 on some goretex boots and co2 pump!
