Question about IBIS (Geometry)-Anyone familiar?grande

i'm looking at an ibis at a closeout. Anyone familiar with their geometry. Seems a bit unorthdox. I'm 5'8" so i'm looking for around a 54cm TT, but that's a 51cm seat tube length/frame size. Do (I mean did) they measure differently, angles are 73/74 (head/seat). I dont know. I'm used to seat and top tube length within a 1-1.5cm difference. Any comments would appreciated.
I have an Ibis SpankyDASS

On my Ibis Spanky:

ST: c-to-c 55.5cm
TT: c-to-c 56.5cm

Not sure about geometery.
Sonoma or Spanky?Carl S

I'm assuming you are looking at the Sonoma road frame. The Spanky was an earlier version and I don't have all the info on that. You are correct about the 51 having the 54 TT. The 51 can also be seen as a 54 if you measure the ST center to top. The Ibis frames do have a longer cockpit relative to ST C to C than most but they work great. Just keep in mind that the critical consideration will be bar height in relation to the seat. Once you have the right TT length be careful about selecting the stem and stack combo that puts your bars were they need to be.
