I snagged a 650C wheeled Vengeance a few years back... maybe it needs a new paint job??? |
| re: ... they're still out there... | Qubeley Mar 23, 2003 4:47 PM | | I saw the auction too, really cool frames. I always wanted a special GT time trial frames, couldn't find it in my size. Do you know if they ever made them in size 50cm?
I doubt it.. |
| ... as far as I know... | Akirasho Mar 23, 2003 5:53 PM | | ... the frames with the aero seat tube were only built in three sizes (S, M and L).
My frame (last pic) is a large which equates roughly to a 60cm. I couldn't hazard a guess on the other two... but if I get a chance I'll do some back issue mag surfing and see if I can find out (these frames were a hot topic leading up to the '96 Olympics).

| if your interested... | Frith Mar 23, 2003 8:37 PM | | I happen to know of a shop that has a couple of these. Not sure which of the three they are but I could find out. I love going there...It's owned by a guy who's in his 70's and has a tonne of classic steel. It's odd because the GT's in that shop stick out like big sore aerodynamic thumbs even though they're tucked away. Should I find out about them? Price, sizes etc. I doubt they're gonna fly off the shelves any time soon. |
| possibly interested | SamDC Mar 24, 2003 7:23 AM | | Hey Frith,
I might be interested in learning more about the frames, like how much, what sizes he has. Please email me at longlivefortran@hotmail.com if you have any more info.
Thank you,

| I have a medium . . . | speedisgood Mar 24, 2003 7:05 AM | | and the top tube is 56 cm, c-c. I had to chop the fairing on the seat post so it would go low enough. |
