|Question about Trek's VW team.||Gall|

I was looking at Cyclingnew.com and saw the Trek VW riding road bikes. I thought they were a MT bike team. Did they change to road racing or were they just training on road bikes?
I couldnt find a related story.

|the trek/vw team is a mtb team, but they also train on road bikes from trek. also, trek has a number of regional road racing teams which are also sponsored by them and vw. it could be confusing. by the way, there are also regional mtb teams, but they wear red jerseys, unlike the white regional r.r., and blue/white/black trek/vw jerseys.|

|he's a darned good wrench and the only person I'll trust to touch my bike if I don't have time/inclination to do my own work.
He is primarily a road racer. The rest of the guys are mostly MTB racers, but they train and race on the road in the early season. Zack and the boys have been racing on the road down in AZ for the past month or so, besides doing the Moab camp they pictured. The entire team did Stazio training crit in Boulder last week. There's a good pic of Zack charging up the hill that cyclingnews used as a feature thumbnail a couple days ago.
