ok . . so leaders couldn't talk it out. maybe they could have raced their troubles away. . . I wonder if there are great training rides in the desert. . . hmm

(not meaning to be rude, just randomn thoughts)

Don't know, but I do know firsthand that many of our service men and women are avid cyclist and triathletes. I've cycled in some pretty remote areas during my military career and I'd be willing to bet soon after the shooting ends there will be some training going on in within Iraq's borders.

Looking at the newscasts it sure is a beautiful place. I bet once we get things calmed down over there cycling may revive. They could afford it for sure.

Remember while Iraq has desert it also has a fertile valley surrounded by rivers. It is a wonderful place with wonderful people.
