Is there a way to change the max bid on ebay (i.e. lower it)?
You didn't bid too much on that Trek did you? nmKristin

NO!!! Thank God I did not!! It's on a pair of wheels but I thought the hubs where ultegra and they are shimano 600.

So can I lower my max bid?
I have no idea, I'm an EBay ignoramousKristin

I was just picking on you. But if you had overbid on the Trek, it would have been funny. Someone will have a real answer for you soon. One thing. Look into BID RETRACTION. I think that may be your ticket. But I've never used it so I'm not sure how it works.
I don't think you can lower your bid..........davet

... maybe the technique is to cancel the bid, then resubmit the one that you are comfortable with.

Isn't 600 just an earlier name for Ultegra?
Yep, that's the ticket, and....look271

600 was the earlier version of Ultegra. Don't know when they switched, though.

actually if memory serves for many years they used both...Ultegra 600 as the name....think it was mid to late 90s when they dropped the 600....
