I rode 20 miles wearing my Ireland jersey. Afterwards, drank an Irish coffee and Guiness stout.
Well, this morning I rode my bike to...Lon Norder

Went out for 40 miles in 3/4 length tights, short sleeve jersey and fingerless gloves. Felt the sun and then had two Kilkenny Irish Ales ahen I got back home.

What could be better.

Hasn't the last 3 days been great drizzle ,rain NE wind, oh well at least I'm able to ride each day. In NC Since Feb 1 I have heard on news we have only had 5 days of sunshine.
Never will coplain about it being too hot or humid in NC again.

Be safe on the roads

I rode with a guy who had green tires on his bike... a mountain bike at that. Dude was fast, he took some long pulls at 45-50 kph.

did my first race in 2 years. made a mess of it though, pace was pretty slow for first lap, decided to chase down a break, then got caught out with a headwind and heart rate went little high, just in time for the rest of the peleton to pick up speed and pass me. got dropped, along with another 4 riders. we chased for the next lap but couldn't get back on. the course was flat, with a tailwind on the back end of the course, i would have prefered a hilly course.
wasn't properly prepared for it, due to exams after christmas so wasn't too disappointed, was more stupidity (really bad tactics!!!!)than lack of fitness that led to me being dropped.
