|A little tidbit from LBS land....In an announcement a few days ago Trek stated that no more USPS OCLV frames will be shipped with the USPS Logo/decal on the seat tube.
The details were that the United States post office was asking for a royalty that Trek was unwilling to pay. Trek claims the fee would result in roughly a 10% price increase for the bikes and so they will no longer ship any new models with the decal.
All new models will still feature the same paint schemes BUT the Usps logo will be replaced with the corresponding OCLV 110--OCLV 120 decal.

|This only goes for LBS sold models--the team units will have the decals of course.....|

|I wonder what would happen if they (Trek) had a paint warranty issue with a USPS OCLV - would you get it back without the USPS logo or would it remain as it was bought that way? |
Just a point of contention perhaps.

|Royalty would only be on the frame & most likely on the sale to the retailer. so more like $100.

|You can get plenty of that priority mail packing tape and stickers for free at any LPO (local post office) to wrap around your frame tubes.|| |
