It may not be the most direct route, but it's more scenic and safer than trying to make your way through the area around downtown and Hollywood: Once you hit Entrada at PCH, work your way up to San Vicente. Take San Vicente north to the VA Hospital, taking a shortcut over to Sepulveda. Take a left at Sepuleveda up to Mulholland and take Mulholland east to Caheunga Pass. Make a right at the bride at the bottom of the hill and then an immediate left after the bridge. Just after that, turn right to go down to Barham. Turn right at Barham, descend to Forest Lawn and go righ. Head into Griffith Park, turning left at the zoo to cross the freeway. Take San Fernando (yeah, it sucks but it's short) right to Colorado and turn left. Colorado will take you through Glendale and Eagle Rock and into Pasadena via suicide bridge. I'm doing this by memory, so you may want to check the Thomas Guide to confirm everything.
Thanks, I'll check the Tom's with what you said.PeterRider
