Look AC353(Foco) with HSC3 1-1/8" all carbon fork. Top and downtube are oversized. The chainstay are diamond shaped and slightly canted inward for stiffness. Frames were made for Credit Agricole. Just under 18 pounds as shown.
The ride is somewhere between a round tubed steel frame and aluminium. Plenty stiff, yet forgiving.

Strong - Foco/Ultra Foco. It's treated me quite well.

at the moment I'm "borrowing" a C Record friction D/T from my friendly neighborhood LBS. it goes on a project bike that will never get finished, but I'll have to turn up one of my own someday just in case.

It's my first road bike (since the 1979 Schwinn), so I don't have a base with which to compare. That said, I absolutely love it. Picked it up Friday night and put 70 miles on it Sat and Sun. A little easier than the Trek mtb w/ knobbies on the road (which is what I was doing to get some miles/exercise).

FYI, it's the Allez Elite with 105. Wish I could have jumped up to the Comp/Ultegra, but didn't have the additional bones in the budget. Everything is stock (with a shorter stem and spd pedals). The 56 cm and compact geometry needed a tweak.

It rides great compared to the others I rode (all aluminum--Felt and Trek mainly).

By the way, I'm in Memphis and road the Hightailer's ride Saturday. Great group of people...very welcoming and helpful to a newbie. Thanks especially to JS Haiku who really motivated me and helped me buy a road bike.

If you have a more specific question, I'd be happy to answer.
SpecialTater how tall are you?tnbiker

I was wondering how tall you are, since I looked a similar sized specialized.

Steve Rex Foco with carbon seat stays and fork. Check out the filet brazing. This bike rides very nice. Very responsive and climbs like a cat. 17.5 lbs. The photos don't do the paint justice.

The paint is a deep yellow pearl over a white base coat. It really dances in the sun. I don't have as many miles as I would like yet on this bike, but nice weather will be here soon! (?) I really like all your Foco bikes gentlemen, thanks for posting!

Here is my custom True North steel frame. It is not made out of Foco or Ultra Foco as I am a huge person (6'2", 330lbs++). It is Reynolds 725 38mm DT & ST and a Columbus EL DT as a TT. It rides like a dream and with a high end group like Dura Ace or Chorus I think It would be around 21lbs. It is also a 61cm (virtual size) compact frame.
