|shoes. Are they any good???? I have been riding my Sidi Genius 3s for over 4 years now and they held up well. Beat them up in a spill, but the still are solid. Are the Energy problematic in any way? The soles can be stiffened or made softer with than device on the bottom. Does it work? I read that is does. I got a good deal on them so we will see.|

|think you will be happy, i have a couple pairs. I like the adjustment capability of the shoe. Ride times and carnac also, but the sidi's are just as good if not better. I haven't really played with the device on the bottom. Bought my wife a pair, she likes them and she is much more harder to please than me when it comes to shoes.|

|My wife thinks my Sidi shoes(3 of them) are ugly. I have more bike shoes than dress/work shoes. Have considered divorce for this "ugly" remark.|

|Use a locking compound on the heel caps or you WILL lose them.
You might also lose the sole tensioner (I did).
There are so many "user replaceable parts" on these shoes that tiny screws easily come unscrewed and you need to replace them (it is of a bit self fullfilling prophesy).
The "fishing line" used in the lower tensioners can develop a "memory"- it can be a good practice to loosen them all the way once in a while or a permanent kink can develop.
They are great shoes- I wanted a zero velcro setup and they deliver.
