What would you pay for a Raleigh R600 from 2000 that is in good condition? (original retail ~$1,050 ) Or is there a basic formula you'd consider for used bikes, factoring in the number of years since its make?

... how is the bike equipped (components and wheels)?

While few would pay close to new retail on the average used bike, there are rare exceptions (rare or expensive frames/components and/or collectables)... but with respect to a formula... though it's arguable, there isn't any... more of what the market will bear (some might suggest up to 50% off the original retail for a 3 year old... but if the seller ain't motivated... and the buyer is...)

Be the bike.
