|Will Cipo's team get into the TDF?||Allezcomp|

|Just saw that Cipo won the 1st stage in Tirreno-Adriatico. Two other riders in the team have produced wins at the Trofeo Pantalica in Sicily, Stage 4 of the Vuelta Valenciana and the 5th stage of the Tour de Mediterranean.
It's still over 2 months till they announce the last 4 teams but it seems like a good start for the team. It would be cool to see Zabel, Cipo and McEwen battle it out until the mountain stages where Lance is gonna clean up.
Do you guys think Domina Vacanze will get in or will they only select french teams?
|Nope, I hear Leblanc is going to nominate Chirac instead ...||StupidLight|

|On the basis of the usual French "sporting" criteria, I believe Jacques Chirac will be nominated for his astounding tactical skills, ability to promote French interests, and generate headlines.
Chirac has been quoted as saying his strategy for winning will be to let the air out of Lance Armstrong's tires every morning before the race.
Vive la France!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|Breaking news! Saeco passe over again!||StupidLight|

|The Amaury Sports Organization has just announced it will be nominating the Iraqi national team this year instead of Team Saeco.
Leblanc justified the ASO decision, stating that Saddam Hussein promised him a bigger cut of oil pelf than Simoni's partners in the Peruvian "export" business were willing to offer.
|Do they have a GC rider? Only sprinters: Whats the use? nm||Spunout|

|And how do you justify AG2R, Bonjour and Jean Delatour?||StupidLight|

|Looks like the (slim) chance of a stage victory is good enough if your team is French. Never mind that this means that a second-class sprinter like Nazon gets invited instead of the most charismatic and entertaining rider in cycling...|
|Only one team has a GC rider. Lets make the sprints fun NM||Bruno S|

|There was an article that came out earlier this year where Cipo talked with LeBlanc about the TdF and his position last year. Sounded like everything got straightened up. But I'm pretty sure they will get in this year, I'd almost bet a good sum of money on it.
Need him just to make the sprints more interesting.
