Just wondering, Would it be possible to adapt this to a Shimano set up. I am thinking for the most part itworks like a standard computer, however the buttons are probably different. I have nto seen this set up just thinking at this time. I do not like the flight deck.

Thanks
Matt

Sure it would work with out the buttons. I think you'd be better off with another after market though.

This computer has always facinated me. If I could adapt it to run with my Shimano I would be willing to try that. I wish I could drop the buck for record or Chorus but alas I cannot.

adaptation would be highly complex, if you intend to preserve the gear display functions. you'd have to figure out what electrical signals are sent to the ergo levers by the harness, and find some way to duplicate that on STI levers. the sensors attached to your ergo levers operate mechanically; as the ergo cam turns, the potential differs. the STI set is electronic. I'm sure someone could do it, but it would take quite a bit of doing.
