Wed. Poll: Will the Midwest really reach the 60's this weekend?Kristin

I've cancelled all my plans and am spit shining my bike, but fear I'm just falling for the same old trick again. They put up that big six-oh on the board and then keep pushing it back so that it's never nearer than 5 days away.

Sunday kicks of the start of the season with a nice little 45 minute Crit up in Kenosha. Chance of rain on Sunday, but who cares. Maybe half the field will be out of shape and the other half will be chicken. (I hope)

I grew up in LaCrosse. I remember racing some early races in kenohsa on some campus about 15 years ago. Those races were critical in making Cat. 3 as a junior.
Yes, the Parkside series.................nmMR_GRUMPY

Hasn't changed for a couple of days. Saturday's looking like the day to be out up here. We've been pretty light for snow this year, we're probably tied with cities like Memphis and Washington DC. Two good melt days, like Thursday and Friday is forecast for above will do alot to make for a rideable Saturday. (hopefully the snow tonight won't amount to much)

I too am blocking the time and readying the bike.

I'll be thinking of you out in Chicagoland as I roll along (with a little luck).

Go to the club area and you'll find a ride locator with length, speed, etc.

I usually race 25-30 times a summer as a Master. I don't want to name my team because they will give me the Nelson laugh, if they read this.........Ha.......Ha.
