Yesterday, I posted about my anticipation of riding today. The weatherman said it was going to be in the mid-50's today. NOT. Its' 27 degrees, overcast and the high temp will maybe hit 40, but only if the clouds disappear.

Oh well. I'm not going to let the cold stop me. I'll just wear more clothes.

P.S. It looks like we caught a couple of Osama's sons. A good day for the good guys - regardless of your political point of view. Have a good weekend all. Paul

In the rolling hills of Northern KY.

I ended up riding just 35 miles. Since it was a workday and I was playing 'hookie', I had to take my cell phone. My assistant knew only to call me in emergency. Well, she called twice - and I made money while on the road. I actually called two clients on my cell phone, sitting on my toptube out in the boonies and made money. Its' great to make an income while riding.. It messed up the rythm (spelling) of the ride, but that's life.

Beware. The potholes are huge - I saw a Mini at the bottom of one. With all of the recent snow, there are tons of sand on the road making them very dangerous. Also, I felt like I was breathing in a salt mine. I could actually tasted salt in my mouth from all of the salt put down on the roads this winter. But I'm not complaining. Really. Just being on my bike was great.

Tomorrow it will be in the 60's....my wife asked me (versus me asking her) when I plan to ride tomorrow. She knows that my riding is a foregone conclusion.

Be safe. Paul
