|I don't know anything about Tacx trainers other than I was interested in purchasing a computrainer and Tacx makes a nice one. I desided to make that purchase at another time.
Recently purchased a Cyclops 2 fliud trainer and so far am very happy with it. I had borrowed a Blackburn Mag resistance trainer and was not impressed. It was so loud I couldn't listen to the stereo or watch TV at a reasonable level. The fluid trainer is much more quiet.

|The Tacx trainers are just as nice as the Cycle Ops trainers in my opinion. Look at both and pick the one you can get cheaper.
Also, now is a good time to find a used one from those of us down south. It's 79 degrees right now... I am riding on the road, not the trainer.
