Here's some pix of the bike. Pretty obvious bike was damaged prior to boxing/shipping. Worse yet the "friend" he was selling the bike for is allegedly the manager of Easy Rider bike shop(presumably near Sunshine, Fl. where the bike was shipped from). He also said he was a mechanic there for "years". Followed everybodys advice on the complaints to eBay, Paypal and SA's Office and it's definitely making him sweat. UPS will also file charges if he's making a false claim. Seller says he'll refund money after he gets the bike back. Yeah right. Thanks again for the advice everybody. Keep you posted.

I don't really have much to say here. :)

I just wanted to say that I think you're referring to Easy Rider in Sunrise, not Sunshine FL. If this is correct, it's rght down the street from my house. I've been in there a few times, but never really talked to any of the employees. I usually just bought clothing or small items there. They cater mostly to the recreatinal crowd, but on occasion have a Pinarello or something else nice in stock.

This store is actually affiliated with a larger local chain, Big Wheel Bicycles, who have a pretty good reputation locally.

Again, I'm not saying anything good or bad about this shop or their employees, just that I know of them and have been in the shop before.
Same thing happened to me.weed

I bought a Serotta Legend Ti which had an almost indetectible crack in the down tube. I found one day while cleaning the bike, the sun light hit it just right. I called Serotta and explained the issue, how I purchased it and such. Not making the story any longer, SEROTTA took care of it. They repaired it under warrantee. Those guys are great!
