Allez Comp or TCR Aero 2volleypc

Help America, I am a 6'2" 205 lb male looking to upgrade to a nicer bike with a budget of about $1600-$1800. I am considering either the TCR Aero 2 by Giant or the Allez Comp by Specialized. Any suggestion, tips or other recommendations? Thanks

I would tell you to get the Allez Comp. But I that would mean that I am being bias. Specialized make some real good bike and they handle very good too. That not to mention that they handle very good. That my tip and suggestions. But if I was you I would see if I could get other people's advice.

If you've narrowed it down to two bikes, no problem. Ride them and see which feels better to you.

I love my TCR2, my best friend loves his Allez Comp. Both companies make good bikes, so it's just a matter of figuring out which fits your body and riding style best. Ride 'em.

Like the milkman, I'm a biased Spec. Comp owner and I concur with FBG, if you're down to two bikes ride em and pick the one that feels best.

Couple of things to bear in mind.
1) The Specializied comes in all sizes, you may find it easier to achive good fit.
2) Can't recall and Giant's spec details on their web site isn't working, but, isn't the Aero2 set up in Tri/Time Trial configuration.

Either way, both are good choices.

Have fun and enjoy the ride.

Go with the standard TCR 2 at $1300 and save $300 or spend $200 more and get the TCR 1 with full Ultegra at $1800. The 105 wheelset and clip-on bars are not worth the extra $300 on the Aero 2.
